On the 26th July 2017 the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare and the Royal College of Psychiatrists will be hosting an event, “Innovation and Sustainability - how to make it happen - RCPsych Sustainability scholarships”, at the Royal College of Psychiatrists in London.

The event will focus on the highly successful RCPsych Sustainability Scholarship Programme which has enabled trainees to develop leadership and quality improvement skills; make innovative and sustainable changes in mental healthcare; collaborate across the healthcare and sustainability workforce and work at both an applied and strategic level to integrate sustainability into mental health care.

There will be speakers from the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare, the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) and of course the trainees themselves. Talks will include descriptions of the trainees’ projects e.g. models of care and green space interventions, priorities of the RCPsych Sustainability Committee, how to set up a sustainability scholarship/fellowship and how they work for different organisations.
There will be time for some lively discussion and lunch, provided at the RCPsych.

If you would like to join us please send an e-mail before the 19th July to: louis.pilard@sustainablehealthcare.org.uk.

(Unfortunately we will not be able to admit anyone on the day who is not on the confirmed list of attendees)
