Opportunity for Psychiatry Trainees! Psychiatry Sustainability Scholarship 2017-2018

The Psychiatry Sustainability Scholarship Programme 2017-18 is offering a part-time, one-year scholarship open specifically to advanced trainees in the Thames Valley and funded jointly with Health Education Thames Valley. 
The Scholar will be supervised and supported by the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare (CSH) with ongoing support from the Royal College of Psychiatrists. 

Using his/her allocated “special interest” professional development time (1 day per week), the Scholar will receive training in sustainable healthcare and will undertake applied projects in quality improvement and/or sustainable commissioning. 

In the course of the programme, the scholar will be supported to prepare conference submissions, educational sessions and journal articles on relevant topics and will be expected to contribute regularly to Psych Susnet. He/she will have the opportunity to contribute to the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Sustainability Committee.
