Why OT?

One of the things which makes occupational therapy special is its committed holistic approach. Yet even though the environment is considered an integral part of the OT process, the profession - at the UK at least - seems to be overlooking the single biggest threat to humans and their environment – climate change.

Has anyone ever organised a...

Has anyone ever organised a litter picking event with patients? Our unit is next to a stream and community park which is often very littered. I have some interest from a few patients to try to maintain these areas for the local community. I'm guessing I could approach the local council but I'm not sure where I would stand with insurance etc. If anyone has any advice I would be really grateful. Thank you.
