Wednesday, July 17, 2019 - 09:30 - 16:00
British Dental Association, 64 Wimpole Street, London, W1G 8YS, GB

Public Health England in partnership with NUS and the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare are hosting a day-long masterclass exploring leadership for sustainable dentistry. The event will address what dental trainees, high street and community dentists and dental commissioners across the Anglia and Essex region can do to reduce the environmental effects of dental care, engaging and inspiring dental professionals to embed sustainability in their day to day practice.

We’ll introduce themes of leadership and sustainable development leadership. Participants will learn through shared experiences and networking with a focus on the impact of good communications (with patients, suppliers, colleagues, peers etc.). During the event we’ll also explore what’s needed by the sector to further support the sustainability agenda.

The masterclass will be CPD accredited (if participants complete a post-event quiz). Upon registration, a calendar invite will be sent to you including how to access the event. Participants will be expected to complete c.2 hours preparation work in advance of the event.
