The working paper titled ‘Mainstreaming Climate Change Education in UK Higher Education Institutions’ looks at how embedding Climate Change Education across all learning and operational activities in HEIs is essential to serve the core purpose of preparing learners for their roles in work and wider society.

The working paper highlights how to foster the graduate attributes and future leadership skills needed to address climate change, as well as the internal and external enabling environments that can determine a HEIs ability to embed Climate Change Education in a manner that responds to the scale of the climate change challenge, and the needs of students and staff in addressing it.

The paper has been published alongside 11 case studies from across different UK universities that showcase existing Climate Change Education ideas and interventions.

I hope you find this new paper interesting.
