The Association of British Dispensing Opticians has developed a tool for optical practices to help them assess their progress on the journey towards sustainability.
Practices can use this to measure where they and return in a few months' time to see the progress they have made.
Participants can complete the survey in a few minutes – or take a little longer and jot down useful ideas that they would like to implement in their practice or business.
The survey can be saved part way through and returned to within 30 days to complete it.
The survey is designed to cover as many sustainability activities as possible for individuals, practices and businesses in the optical community, so not all activities may be applicable for everyone - there is a N/A option which won't be counted in the score.
At the end of the survey people are given a chance to opt in to weekly emails giving them info, advice and activities to help them move towards sustainability. They also get a virtual medal indicating their level of achievement.
