Resource Description:

The EDTNA/ERCA and Fresenius Medical Care have produced this Handbook for going green in dialysis. "Fifteen experts from 10 different countries have created the Guidelines over the past year. They contain all the state of the art knowledge to reduce the environmental burden of dialysis. The implementation of energy saving strategies is crucial as high levels of water use, the creation of increasing quantities of hazardous waste and high energy consumption have serious ecological and economic impacts." An electronic version of the handbook is available free to members of EDTNA/ERCA or to non-members for 15 Euros, via the link given above.
