Zero Carbon Britain: Rising to the Climate Emergency

The climate crisis is a health crisis. The Special Report on Health and Climate change for COP24 called climate change “the greatest health challenge of the 21st century”, directly threatening the health and safety of our local population by increasing death and injury from heart attacks, strokes, air pollution, infectious disease, floods, wildfires and super storms, as well as worsening food security.

Zero Carbon Britain explores the ways to mark out a road map to net zero in Britain, using today's technologies. 

"Our work clearly demonstrates that we already have the tools and technology needed to efficiently power the UK with 100% renewable energy, to feed ourselves sustainably and play our part in leaving a safe and habitable climate for our children and future generations."
