Three weeks to have your say about the RCOT Strategic Intentions

The Royal College of Occupational Therapists are seeking input for their next set of Strategic Intentions for 2018-2023.

You may have been/be going to one of the RCOT events around the country discussing future priorities.  If not, you can take part by emailing Julia Scott at with your answers to the following questions:

1) What is likely to impact on the profession in the next 5-10 years?

2) What should the professional body focus on going forwards?

Amongst the other issues that you may want to explore, consideration could be given to the triple bottom line of economic, social and environmental impacts on occupational therapy service provision.  Addressing all of these as part of sustainable healthcare would complement RCOT's Improving Lives, Saving Money campaign.

Consideration could also be given to how other Royal Colleges have addressed sustainability, the development of WFOT's guiding principles for sustainable occupational therapy and the consensus statement from the sustainability networking day at RCOT HQ.

Members have until Monday 31st July to respond.  This is an excellent opportunity to have your say.
