Sustainable Auditing and Research

Hi there, I have been asked to advise my department on how to make the Audit and Research projects more sustainable. Just wondering if anyone can share anything in this area? (apart from the obvious reducing paper copies etc). Or if there's any good practice/research I can tap into. - Thanks!

And the Sustainable Healthcare Coalition seem to be testing out a tool right now for measuring carbon footprint of research trials:
