Congratulations to Dr Ann Wylie for winning KCL sustainability award for her work in medical education.

"As a consequence of her efforts, all 450 fourth-year medical students in the new King’s medicine curriculum 2020 will undertake a core quality improvement project, including global health and sustainability. The projects will align to relevant UN Sustainable Development Goals and some projects will focus on sustainability and carbon footprint issues within the health care systems."

Ann is leading the sustainable healthcare education team at KCL which is one of 8 medical schools taking part in our SEDA-funded project this year. The approach of integrating sustainability with QI is really exciting and i am very much enjoying working with them on this. If any other med schools interested in similar approach, do reply here or contact me, it would be great to share ideas and materials.
