Sustainable healthcare networking event

Monday, June 19, 2017 - 09:30 - 16:00
Room 1.15, Heritage House Building, De Montfort University, Leicester, GB

This free event will be a brilliant opportunity to meet and share learnings with other professionals in the healthcare sector. With sessions being delivered by the Sustainable Development Unit and the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare, as well as the south region lead on clinical transformation and sustainability and health, attendees will be able to learn about current challenges and opportunities - and how to see the opportunities in the challenges!

We will also feature examples of how sustainability is working on the ground in several NHS trusts across the UK, sharing specific examples of good practice. With plenty of opportunities to network, take part in discussions and feedback on different issues, this is a chance to not only learn about the current field of sustainable healthcare but also have an impact on the future.

This event is organised by NUS as a part of creating change within the sector through our work with various trusts on behaviour change, including Green Impact (
