Green Health Wales Launch: Raising Awareness, Building Will & Transferring Skill

Join us, Green Health Wales, and the Bevan Commission at the free virtual conference, Green Health Wales: a day of Raising Awareness, Building Will, and Transferring Skill.
The conference will take place on Tuesday 29th June 2021, 9.00-16.00, and will equip people working in the health and social care sector in Wales with the tools and knowledge to transform health care to be climate smart and environmentally sustainable.
Keynote speakers include Dr Andrew Goodall, CEO of NHS Wales, and Sophie Howe, Future Generations Commissioner, and the conference programme includes:
- Talks from expert speakers who will outline the links between climate change and health, and how those working in the healthcare sector in Wales can help to combat climate change and its effects.
- Sharing of exemplar projects and learnings from both local Welsh initiatives and global sustainable healthcare projects across a breadth of speciality areas.
- Afternoon workshops to equip you with the information and skill to start your own sustainable project, and to grow your idea to meet the challenges and ambitions set out by the NHS Wales Decarbonisation Strategic Delivery Plan.
