The theme of this first report in the Nordic Know-How series is nitrous oxide destruction. Nitrous oxide substantially contributes to the climate footprint of the healthcare sector. This report provides good examples on how to reduce emissions of nitrous oxide in hospitals.
The Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland (AAGBI) welcomes the publication of the NHS Carbon Reduction Strategy, and is delighted to be able to offer a new seminar on ‘The Anaesthetist and the Environment’ organised by Professor Sneyd which will address this increasingly important topic. The seminar brings together a number of world-class speakers and experts in the field.
