The Centre for Sustainable Healthcare is offering an interactive one-day course for up to 20 public health and other health professionals and trainees to develop leadership skills for environmental sustainability within and outside the health and care sector.

The Faculty of Public Health has accredited this activity up to 5 CPD credits.

The Royal Society of Medicine's 'Energy Transition and Public Health' event is look at the public health implications of energy choices. The increasing costs of fuel bills, the debate about achieving a balance between development of the economy as a whole and the welfare of individual households and families, the relation of energy with climate change policies have all been in the news in recent months.

Whether you are a public health practitioner concerned about fuel poverty, winter deaths, or climate change, or have an interest in these issues, this conference will highlight several cross-linkages between energy choices and health.
