Greener AHP Week: Highlights, Learning and Next Steps (Panel Discussion)

To conclude Greener AHP week a panel including a variety of professionals will round up, talking about what may have stood out for them, any lessons learnt and discussions around "What Next for Greener AHPs?"

Suzanne Rastrick is the Chief Allied Health Professional Officer for NHS England, and a non-executive director / board advisor. Suzanne is passionate about achieving Net Zero in her respective roles. As Chief AHP Office, she represents over 200,000 registered professionals, plus support workers and students, in the 14 allied health professions (AHPs), the third largest workforce in health and care in England. 

Manraj Phull is Senior Net Zero Delivery Manager at NHS England. She qualified as a doctor and worked as a registrar in urology for several years before doing a clinical fellowship in sustainability and moving to work for Greener NHS. 

 

Rebecca Harrison is a patient advocate and currently working as a research and development advisor for a healthcare innovation company, She was previously an NHS diagnostic radiographer.

 

Derek Munn is the Director of Policy & Public Affairs at the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists. His role includes political and external engagement across all four nations of the UK. He also leads on the College’s journey to co-production with people with lived experience, and on international work. 

Derek has been part of the greener AHP work of NHS England. Earlier in his career, he was special adviser on both health and the environment to a First Minister of Scotland, and was chair of the Scottish Advisory Council of WWF.
