Hello,

I did see a few brief discussions regarding WAG capture technology.  Is anyone currently useing it with in their hospital? Is there any supporting data that you can point to?

Thanks.

We've ruled out investment into Gas capture systems - preferring to focus on reduction instead and concerns about 'green washing'??

BPR Medical work with solutions for safe capture and destruction of nitrous oxide and Entonox.  We have several NHS clients in the UK using the technology for waste capture who can share their experiences with you.  Please contact sales@bprmedical.com for more information on this innovation.

Hi Dan,

SageTech Medical have developed a safe, sustainable and easy to use solution for the capture, recovery and recycling of volatile anaesthetic agents (desflurane, isoflurane and sevoflurane).

I would be happy to discuss our technology, related evidence and ongoing work in the UK.

My contact is luke.rawlinson@sagetechmedical.com

Kind regards,

Hi we are exploring these options. I think an evaluation of what your current use is and how you might reduce it - as Angela says - is a key focus as this is a significant investment. In the background getting some form of funding application ready is sensible and inviting teams to speak at your educational meetings and introducing reduction toolkits will help to work through where the opportunities might lie
