HIV prevention for the next decade: Appropriate, person-centred, prioritised, effective, combination prevention

I considered combining two of my favourite subjects- HIV treatment & prevention with Sustainability.

Although not immediately apparent, the connections are evident because if the patients progress from being HIV-positive to having AIDS, they would require extensive hospitalisation and with it, a considerable amount of medical waste.

The article covers a 10-year approach for HIV prevention, detection, and treatment, and how important it is to detect patients in the early phase and then maintain adherence to the anti-retroviral treatment. The treatment progressed greatly, and instead of 10+ tablets now most patients only take one tablet daily.
