Reducing plastic in sampling patients

Hello there,

Has anyone got any thoughts on reducing plastic in sampling practices?  In critical care we collect frequent blood samples and place them in little plastic bags for collection.  My thoughts were around trying new ways to collect samples involving segregated buckets that samples can be placed in instead of the plastic bags.  Has anyone got any thoughts on this?
