CSH is delighted to announce that this year's NHS Forest Autumn Event is to be held on the 18th October at Todmorden Health Centre, Lower George Street, Todmorden, West Yorkshire, OL14 5RN.
The day includes:
- The launch of the partnership between Incredible Edible Todmorden and Ambulance Service
- A "creating a healthy route through the NHS Forest" workshop
- An awards ceremony hosted by Pam Warhurst, (Chair of the Forestry Commission),
- An opportunity to learn more about the interface between health and the environment through a guided walk to include the planting at Todmorden Healthcare Centre
- A chance to meet NHS, forestry and community engagement professionals
NHS Forest Award Categories:
- Most Innovative Forest Site Award (judged by panel)
- Best Community engagement at an NHS Forest site
- Largest number of trees planted
- Significant contribution to the NHS Forest project
