Please join us on Tuesday 8th July (12:30-13:15) to hear from a panel of NHS Sustainability experts, ahead of the launch of Cohort 3 of the Sustainable Healthcare Academy later this Autumn.
The title of our session is ‘The Green Skills Gap: Are We Ready For Sustainable Change?’ and our expert panel is:
- Claire Keen – Corporate Partnerships Manager (Healthcare), IEMA
- Rosy Bennett – Sustainability Manager, NHS Supply Chain
- Tim Simmance – Assoc. Director of Sustainability & Growth, Bedfordshire, Luton & Milton Keynes ICB
- Simon Baker (Chair) – Director, LDN Apprenticeships
In the session we’ll discuss:
- How different organisations are using a range of options to embed capability across their organisation
- The importance of framing sustainability as value-add, and aligning it to core NHS priorities, and the Government’s 10-Year Health Plan
- The role of green skills within a long-term workforce plan
- How the levy-funded Sustainable Healthcare Academy is supporting a broad range of NHS colleagues across clinical and non-clinical professions
I hope that many of you will be able to join our first webinar of 2025 - thanks to Claire, Tim & Rosy for joining the panel.
