Hi everyone,
As part of the Green Space for Health Network, we have a dedicated monthly networking group focused on Green Walking for Mental Health, created specifically for healthcare staff.
This open and inclusive space is designed for healthcare professionals supporting mental health recovery through access to green spaces. Whether you're working in inpatient settings or community-based services, the group offers a chance to share best practices, co-create ideas, and gain inspiration from others running or developing green walking initiatives.
Some of you may know that this group builds on the legacy of our Green Walking in Mental Health Recovery Project. We're now expanding its focus to welcome a broader range of healthcare professionals, to reflect the diverse ways green walking is being integrated into care.
April’s Theme
Our first session of the year (Wednesday 9 April, 2–2:45pm) will be an introduction to the group, setting expectations and providing a space to openly discuss your involvement, interests, and hopes for the sessions ahead.
