  • Dr Parag Shah is a Senior Retina surgeon at the Avarind Eye Care System in India and will discuss their innovative approach to sustainability.

 

  • Dr Neelu Tummala is a Head and Neck surgeon at the George Washington University Hospital in the US who will talk about her work as a climate activist and co-founder of the Surgeons for a Sustainable Future network.

 

  • Dr Virginia Ledda is a clinical research fellow at the NIHR Global Surgery Unit in the UK and will showcase her PhD work that explores ways to make operating theatres around the world carbon neutral by 2030.
