The British Dietetic Association’s Kidney Dietitian Specialist Group has developed a brilliant resource:
“Healthy Eating with CKD” – a practical, evidence-based guide designed especially for non-renal dietitians supporting people with early stages of chronic kidney disease (CKD).

👩‍⚕️ Whether you're a dietitian in primary care, a community health worker, or just getting started with renal nutrition, this tool helps bridge the gap between general nutrition advice and renal-specific needs.

🧾 The resource includes:

  • Simple guidance tailored to the needs of people with early CKD
  • Culturally sensitive dietary advice
  • Printable handouts ready for use in consultations

🌐 To make it accessible and inclusive, it’s now available in multiple languages:
