Occupational Therapists and recreation leaders piloted a green walking program at the Hartington Unit at the Chesterfield Royal Hospital for adult inpatient psychiatric patients.  Patients who had medical clearance for exercise participated in weekly walks in green spaces on hospital grounds.  This was a low cost activity and fostered social inclusion amongst patients.
