Green Walking case study - NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde: Out and About Group

Occupational therapists and support workers run a weekly green walking group for acute inpatient adults at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. Interested patients are given a risk assessment and transported off site for a one hour walk. Feedback is given through an Emotional Touch Points Feedback Form.  Staff have noticed that providing this means of accessing green space and engaging in physical activity have encouraged patients to increase socialisation and discuss what may be troubling them.
