Rebecca Riddell
Rebecca Riddell • 3 July 2023

Within this article, the focus was to look at how climate change impacts the health status of patients, the significant lack of understanding around climate change, and the implications it has on patient health from the perspective of practising nurses. The results conclude nurses feel to address the care needs of patients, a better understanding of climate change is needed and therefore it should be included in nursing training. Giving nurses the knowledge could ultimately create better health outcomes by allowing nurses to make educated changes to their practice.
