Sara and I attended, and each presented posters, at the BASCD conference last week, which had a fantastic line-up of insightful speakers and interesting presentations.
Promoting health and empowering patients to make healthier choices are imperitive to a sustainable health system and it was really interesting to discuss the social determinents of health in greater detail.
The event also helped us to think a lot about incorportating sustainabilty principles into the organisation and delivert of a conference- everything from location to sourcing food!
