Dear colleague,
I would like to invite you to participate in a study on overheating in paediatric hospitals and acute care settings during periods of hot weather for Greener NHS. This study is supported by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
We are conducting interviews with clinical staff and ward managers who work with children and neonates in acute care settings in England to better understand the impacts that heat has on patients, staff and healthcare delivery. We're keen to hear from a range of clinical backgrounds (doctors, nurses, midwives, AHPs, pharmacists etc). Your knowledge, experience and insights would be invaluable to the project and to our ongoing work to increase resilience and safety of patients and staff in the NHS.
The interviews will be online, unless you would prefer in person, and we anticipate that the interview will take up to 1 hour. Your responses will be anonymised and you will not be expected to answer any questions you do not feel comfortable with. It is entirely voluntary, and you can withdraw at any time.
If you would like to participate, please complete this brief online questionnaire to register your interest in being interviewed and to answer a few short questions that will inform our discussions on the day: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/rhCyZnVuGe
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions and please feel free to share this invite and the attached poster with your colleagues.
Many thanks for your help.
Kind regards,
Becca
