I am based in a cancer centre and trying to look at reducing oral chemotherapy waste, by potentially re-dispensing discontinued or deferred oral prescriptions. The waste usually comes from temporarily deferred treatment, dose modifications and changes in treatment regimens. Has anyone trialled any method of reducing chemotherapy waste and effectively changed policy regarding re-dispensing oral chemotherapy medications? Any suggestions regarding reducing intravenous chemotherapy waste? Any useful links or information would be appreciated. Thank you
