Interested to hear if units prescribe weekly darbopoeitin (or alternative ESAs), or if fortnightly (or less often) as standard?
We are looking at moving prescribing away from weekly, both for dialysis units and home care. This has cost and carbon savings (syringe, packaging, delivery frequency for home care +/- district nurse travel to administer).
Report to follow when we've completed the change, but keen to know what standard practices exist elsewhere?
