Climate & Health Summit 2017

Registration is now open for the 2017 Climate and Health Summit, a day long event on Saturday 11 November in Bonn. Please click here to register. This meeting will take place alongside COP23. The Summit will focus, through a health lens, on action to advance implementation of the Paris Agreement and build momentum for increased ambition in climate commitments. It will serve as an opportunity to promote the investment in communities and health systems, increase awareness of sustainable development in the context of climate change and health, and strengthen collaboration among health organizations and with other sectors to increase capacity of the global response to climate change.
There will be a series of World Cafe sessions in the afternoon, including one that I am chairing on preparing health professionals for Sustainable Healthcare.
