Getting the ball rolling on a domestic level

As a long term home heamodialysis patient who's just moved house, I've now come across a suprise, and perhaps challenge of continuing to recycle and process my domestic contaminated and non contaminated waste.

Apart from the shock of discovering my new hospital (Royal Shrewsbury) has no recycling protocol in place for paper/cardboard waste in the unit.
The local authority collection (provided by Veolia in Haringey London), and Veolia Telford and Wreken seem to provide very different services for the same needs.

Formerly, paper, cardboard packing etc, as well as clinical waste bags were collected/recycled, by Veolia in Haringey, presumably heading to the London Waste Co depot.

By comparison, Veolia in Telford and Wrekin, offers no solution for home treatment cardboard, and while bagged hazardous waste is collected, sharps are not.
