Hello all
Just a reminder our free online course on Medical Peace Work is starting tomorrow, Monday 1 May. It is a short 6 week course, requiring 2 hours study per week. But what does peace have to do with climate change and sustainability, you ask?
Two educators from the Sustainable Healthcare Education Network have contributed to this course. We know that we need to present the challenge of climate change to human health in creative ways - and one such way is to use the lens of peace practice to understand global health challenges. In this MOOC (massive open online course) we explore how we inflict structural violence (in the form of climate change) and the resultant negatiave impacts on health.
