Tonight's Sustainable Occupational Therapy Practice - online networking event hosted by Occupational Therapy Susnet focussed on Green Walking in mental health recovery. Ben Whittaker (AHP and MH Lead at CSH) spoke briefly about CSH's Green Walking initiative. Including the Green Walking for Mental Health Guide. Julie Delahaye OT Lead at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust talked about setting up green walking groups across their inpatient wards and sites, together with the therapeutic and health benefits for patients and staff, the range of assessment and treatment opportunites is provides for OT's and other professions including physiotherapy and psychology and the difference it has made to patients and ward teams.

Our online networking meeting takes place monthly on the 2nd Wed at 7pm and once a quarter we host the Greener AHP network.
