Innovation for Sustainable Living
Although likely to be of interest to only a minority of those in the Faculty of Medicine Dentistry and Health, the need to coordinate any interest in this scheme means it is highlighted here
The first workshop to explore possible research programmes under the theme of ‘Innovation for Sustainable Living’ for the £1.75m Leverhulme Trust Research Programme Grants call will take place on Tuesday 19th March, at 2pm in the ICOSS Conference Room.  The workshop will cover an overview of the scheme, the chance to hear from a successful applicant, presentations from groups who have expressed a strong interest in the call, and an open discussion followed by coffee.
Interest in this scheme is very high, so if you plan to attend it would be very helpful if you could register by emailing Greg Morgan (greg.morgan@sheffield.ac.uk).
Additionally, if you would like to make a brief presentation on your interpretation of the theme, or what you and/or your colleagues could contribute to the theme, please let me know and I’ll save you a place on the programme.
Deadline: 3 October 2013
