We are inviting clinicians to take part in a focus group as part of a joint research project delivered by The King’s Fund and the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare (funded by The Health Foundation). The aim of the project is to better understand how accountability for sustainability works within the NHS, and how it can be strengthened to be a more effective driver of action on environmental sustainability in the NHS.
One of the key questions we are exploring is: How can sustainability be integrated within wider accountability mechanisms? We want to understand what accountability mechanisms clinical teams/professionals are subject to, and what the possibilities would be for sustainability to be embedded into these.
We are inviting you to attend one of two focus groups that we are running virtually on MS Teams (each with around 6 – 10 participants):
- Thursday 18 September, 17:00 – 18:30
- Tuesday 23 September, 10:00 – 11:30
If you are available at either of the times above and are interested in taking part, please email Ros West at r.west@kingsfund.org.uk by the end of august with your role, organisation, and preferred date, and we will follow up with further details.
Please note that spaces are limited, and while we’re keen to hear from a range of people, we may not be able to accommodate everyone who expresses interest.
Great to hear, William. If you'd like to attend the focus group please contact r.west@kingsfund.org.uk to register your interest!
