The 2024 Lancet Countdown in Europe report was published this week.
It shows that climate change is already having an impact on the health of people living in Europe. It also shows that without significant action to slow climate change, those health impacts will increase over time. And the report's authors reflect on issues of inequality, as the impacts are not and will not be evenly spread.
