Nature Based Interventions in a Cornish Woodland

I caught up with Peta Temple who's been working on a groundbreaking project involving a four-acre woodland site adjacent to Liskeard’s Community Hospital.

Plans are in place to transform it into a site for nature-based interventions. There will be yurts, an allotment, a camp kitchen, a wood-fired hot tub and cold plunge pool! The intention is to create multiple zoned areas for clinicians or groups to use.

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation trusts Chief Medical Officer, Adrian Flynn, expects that by 2029 50% of services could be delivered in a non-clinical space.
