It's National Tree week, and we thought we would start our week by learning how one of the first NHS Forest woodlands is doing- 15 years later!
Before and after – Tickhill woodland 15 years on
Planted in 2009 on Tickhill Road site, Doncaster, the trees are now semi-mature and thriving. The trees had wider impact than you might expect, and we learnt about the positive knock on effects this planting inspired!
