Question: A methodology to support the transformation of hospital sites?

I would love to hear of any tools or methodologies that people know of (from within or outside of health) that support hospitals to make changes to benefit the environment, patients and the community?

I am interested in the space where a greener and more therapeutic site meets energy savings, people-centred care, health promotion and prevention.  With limited budgets and in-house expertise, how can hospitals confidently take the necessary steps?

Best practice is of course a great starting point, but I'm wondering if there is something more formed out there which can help produce practical steps to eg Estates and Facilities departments?
