Applications are invited to an innovative two-year Fellowship in sustainability of mental health services, funded by the Royal College of Psychiatrists. The post is offered to specialist trainees in psychiatry as an “out of programme experience”. The successful candidate will work with the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare and the College to take a lead role in this exciting new dimension of quality improvement, developing skills in clinical leadership, management and research. During the post, it is expected that the Fellow will pursue an MD at the University of Warwick, and will continue one clinical session per week.
Under supervision from the College, CSH and the University of Warwick, the successful candidate will create a national network of sustainability champions in mental health services, research innovations and new models of care and stimulate the adoption of sustainable practices in Mental Health Trusts around the country.
