Phase 2 of the Sustainable Kidney Care project, delivered by CSH & UKKA is underway and WE NEED YOU!
The Champion scheme exists to build sustainability leadership within kidney care, one of the most resource-intensive specialties in healthcare and we want to expand to reach every renal centres in the UK.
Full detaisl of the project can be found here. In Phase 1, Champions played a pivotal role in piloting a national benchmarking framework, contributing data that will help shape the future of sustainable renal practice. Phase 2 will build on this foundation, supporting more centres to implement evidence-based sustainable changes.
Why become a Champion?
Champions receive direct support from CSH's SusQI (Sustainability in Quality Improvement) experts, access to a suite of practical resources including 13 how-to guides via the Sustainable Kidney Care Toolkit, and a place in a national community of practice. Quarterly drop-in sessions with the project lead and monthly events via the Kidney Care Sustainability Network provide ongoing peer learning and collaboration.
There are also tangible professional development benefits: Champions gain opportunities for presentations, publications and awards that contribute to CPD and professional registration portfolios.
Champions are welcomed from all kidney care disciplines from dialysis nurses to renal registrars & healthcare technicians and more.
