Please review an opportunity to take part in a focus group to drive the delivery of NHS nature plans and strategies. Charlie Satow (Public health registrar doing a part-time project for OHID and Natural England) is looking to engage with NHS leads who are interested in nature and green spaces, to feed into his programme.

What is the purpose?

The Office for Health Improvement and Disparities and Natural England are developing a learning resource package to support health professionals in delivering their objectives by engaging with the Green Infrastructure Framework. Launched by Natural England in 2023, the Green Infrastructure Framework is a set of tools, including principles, standards, design guidance and a mapping tool, which can support the planning of nature projects as part of green plans and sustainability strategies.

Who is this for and what does it involve?
Sustainability and Estate Managers, Green Plan leads, Infrastructure Leads, and related roles in the NHS are invited to take part in a focus group to hear more about the challenges you face in developing nature plans and strategies. The GIF will also be introduced and presented. NB the project is aimed at nature planning and strategy rather than implementing health and wellbeing interventions using existing green spaces.

How can I take part?
Please complete this short expression of interest form to take part in a focus group session.
