Hello everyone,
This next Sharing Hour of 2022 held by the Association of Anaesthetists and Centre For Sustainable Healthcare will focus on reusable Vs single use equipment.
All are welcome, whether you are a theatre nurse, anaesthetic assistant, surgeon or anaesthetist and beyond! This is a topic at the heart of all of our daily practises.
If you’ve been able to champion a reusable equipment project then come along and share your experience, if you’re just embarking on your sustainability journey then share with us what you would like to explore and if there is anything else you want to share, do not hesitate!
This will be your safe space to share your ideas and experiences.
It will be held on Tuesday 1st March 2022 7pm - 8pm
There will be brief discussions from Guy Wing at Sharpsmart to discuss recycling options for single use metal based items commonly used in surgery and Dr Fiona Brennan discussing single use direct Laryngoscopes vs reusable video laryngoscopes
(Make sure you have your pancakes beforehand!)
If there is a topic you would like to discuss then please email me beforehand at envirofellow@anaesthetists.org
All suggestions will be welcome!
Please purchase a ticket on eventbrite for access to the event
