Tree Planting and Conservation within Occupational Therapy

Technical instructor in the Occupational Therapy Department, Alex Watkins, spoke to me about some projects he's been leading at Langdon Hospital. 

Alex initially led projects in the woodworking workshop and in the past few years has introduced conservation work and tree planting into his programme. This includes uncovering a veteran orchard which had been completely overgrown, as well as restoring a neglected Devon hedge. This site is brimming with wildlife and recently they have bought the outside in, by installing a wildlife camera. Full blog post here.
