A report from the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and the World Health Organisation details how cycling has the potential to save 10,000 lives and create employment over 76,000 jobs. The report provides data on 54 major European cities and demonstrates the financial, social and environmental gains and losses of different modes of transport.
