We hope this will be a useful space for you to connect with other professionals who are working to embed environmental sustainability into pathology and healthcare laboratory practice.
We hope that this community will foster innovation, collaboration and sharing of successful projects in your local areas.
We wish to promote current statergies, policies and best practices; share with you the sustainable work of our professional and regulatory bodies, including the IBMS, RCPath, ACB and the EFLM such as the green lab taskforce initiative; we look to update you on projects such as the Clinical LEAF pilots, the sustainable impact of GIRFT and the roleout of educationl materials to support Clinical Laboratory Sustainability Education (CLSE). Finally we wish to share with you case examples and related relevant resources.
With this in mind please feel free to view and share the resources below, these short videos provide an introduction to the climate crisis and clinical laboratory sustainability.
