MSc pre reg dissertation ideas | Sustainable Healthcare Networks Hub

Hello, I hope everyone is okay with me posting this here. I'm in my final year of Nursing at Glasgow Caledonian University and currently choosing my dissertation topic (approx 6000 words). I am passionate about healthcare as well as our global environment and believe that they are very much interlinked. I'd like to write about climate change, sustainability and nursing however am struggling to narrow down an area to focus on. I'd love to know if anyone has any suggestions, ideas or comments. Jen

Hi Jen

Would you be able to look at a successful sustainable intervention in an area of healthcare and think about how this might be introduced in a healthcare setting you are familiar with?

Or a literature review on the contribution of healthcare to climate change?

Hi Sue,

Thank you for replying. I like the idea of reversing the theme and looking at the contribution of healthcare to climate change. Particularly since the NHS has committed to reeducing carbon emissions. I could look at overall healthcare contribution to climate change, what has been done already to implement change and recommendations.
