Hi All

NHS Forest 2 Trees at 2 pm

We are all set for NHS Sustainability day tomorrow the holes have been dug posts in place and our trees have been donated and loving preped by a local Nursery Roots 'n' Shoots of Chester. We are all (well especially me) looking forward to marking the day with the planting and raising awareness around the Trust and Regionally.

I have been telling all the patients about the planting and whats more due to the trees being located on the green outside the Dialysis Unit we are all looking forward to watching them grow :)

Hope you all have a good NHS Sustainability day form a very excited Libby roll on 2pm :D

Hi All

Happy NHS Sustainability day :)

In Sunny Chester today our 2 tree planting at 2pm went well, we have a couple of photo's to mark the event. Will send them onto Sarah so we can all have a giggle!

We have planted 2 silver birch trees in view of the Renal Unit, and thanks to Sarah from Centre for Sustainabile Healthcare we have a further 35 trees on their way to plant within the Health park grounds or add to the Countess Country Park project.

Hope everyone has a good Easter

Well done Libby! That's great news!

Also just got this photo through from Gill Donaldson (longstanding member of the Green Nephrology Advisory Group), planting 2 ornamental cherries at the J&J offices in High Wycombe to show support for NHS Sustainability Day.  Well done Gill! (did you dig the hole as well by the way??)
